Job Description:

Future Foundation PU College, Basaveshwara Nagar, is hiring a qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time Computer Science Faculty to teach both theory and practicals to 1st and 2nd PUC students under the Karnataka State Board syllabus. The candidate should possess solid subject knowledge, strong programming fundamentals, and the ability to guide students through hands-on learning in lab sessions. Good communication and a student-friendly teaching approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear, engaging, and syllabus-aligned theory classes for 1st and 2nd PUC Computer Science students.
• Conduct practical lab sessions, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with programming languages (C, C++, Java, or as per State Board syllabus).
• Plan and complete the syllabus within the academic timeline, including revisions and test preparations.
• Prepare and evaluate assignments, internal assessments, and practical records.
• Support students in understanding coding logic, algorithms, and real-world applications.
• Maintain discipline and a positive, encouraging environment in both classrooms and computer labs.
• Assist with academic coordination, attend staff meetings if required, and keep student progress records updated.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: BCA / MCA / B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science / IT or related field. B.Ed. is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching Computer Science at the PUC level (State Board syllabus).
• Subject Skills: Strong foundation in programming languages (C/C++/Java), data structures, and theory topics like networking, DBMS, etc.
• Lab Skills: Proficiency in handling lab equipment and practical sessions effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Kannada is an added advantage).
• Other Skills: Classroom management, student engagement, syllabus planning, and assessment handling.
