Computer operator (Tally)

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Computer & Data Entry Operations

• Perform accurate and timely data entry of records, forms, reports, and documents.
• Maintain digital records, files, and databases.
• Prepare letters, reports, and spreadsheets as required.
• Handle printing, scanning, photocopying, and email communication.

B. Tally Accounting Support

• Enter basic accounting vouchers in Tally (Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment, Contra).
• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
• Support in invoice preparation and bill entry.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and cash book updates.
• Help in preparing GST and other accounting reports as guided by senior staff.

C. Administrative Support

• Maintain office documentation, registers, inward/outward records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for document collection and submission.
• Assist in maintaining attendance records and basic HR/admin data.

D. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily/weekly reports as required (sales report, stock data, MIS, etc.).
• Assist the accounts/admin team in routine tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of office and financial data.

3. Skills & Competencies Required

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email).
• Basic working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Good communication and coordination ability.
• Ability to handle multitasking and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records.

4. Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: HSC / Graduate (B.Com preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience: 1–3 years as Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator with basic Tally knowledge.
• Fresher with Tally training may also be considered.
