Computer Operator

The Data Entry Operator role involves accurately inputting, maintaining, and updating data in company systems and databases. You will handle sensitive information, ensure data accuracy, and maintain data integrity. Strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision are essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include accurately inputting data from various sources, verifying and correcting data as needed, and meeting deadlines. You will also update existing data, maintain data records, perform quality checks, and report any issues to the supervisor. Maintaining detailed logs of data entry activities, generating reports, and handling confidential information with discretion are crucial aspects of this role. Collaboration with team members to ensure data consistency, effective communication with colleagues and supervisors, and contributing ideas for process improvements are key components of this position. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional training in data entry or office administration being a plus. While previous data entry experience is preferred, it is not required. Familiarity with data entry software, databases, and Microsoft Excel is advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, computer literacy, and communication skills.
