In this role as a Lead Engineer CAD at Pentair Global Engineering Center in Noida, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Computer Aided Drafting and Design to support the Engineering department's activities related to Centrifugal Pumps and peripheral equipment. Your primary focus will be on creating 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation using the latest tools and techniques. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, both locally and internationally, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our product development processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Creating detailed 3D models and drawings of machine components and assemblies utilizing SolidWorks - Generating innovative design concepts for pump components - Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and conducting tolerance analysis on assemblies - Implementing Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) and product rationalization strategies - Considering manufacturing aspects such as Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) - Managing Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation tasks - Engaging in effective communication and coordination with internal and global team members through virtual meetings **Qualifications:** - B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, M.E./M.Tech. in any Mechanical Engineering specialization with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience **Software Skills:** - Proficiency in SolidWorks, encompassing solid and surface modeling, assemblies, and drawings - Familiarity with simple structural simulations will be beneficial As the ideal candidate, you should possess exceptionally strong drawing interpretation skills, a comprehensive understanding of GD&T, and knowledge of manufacturing processes like Casting and Machining.
