Component Responsible(BTV) - Chassis (After Sales)

As an experienced professional with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in developing chassis components within the automotive industry, particularly with OEMs, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing chassis components. Your deep technical understanding of chassis systems, including Frame, Cross-members, Brackets, suspension, steering, braking systems, and Powertrain integration will be essential for this role. You must be proficient in 3D modeling, detailed drawing creation, and the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards. Your responsibilities will include part release processes, management of technical documentation, engineering change notices, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing processes for various chassis components. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement, will be vital to ensure seamless product development and release. Additionally, you will need to evaluate technical requirements for sourcing components from new suppliers and conduct supplier audits in coordination with colleagues. Your role will also involve proposing alternative material options for existing components, recommending and coordinating component-level testing, and preparing engineering documentation for after-sales parts. Your problem-solving skills, experience in root cause analysis (RCA), and familiarity with teardown analysis and benchmarking activities will be beneficial. Ideally, you should have a BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in the German language will be advantageous for this position. Your proven expertise in component development, validation, and end-to-end product development for chassis systems will be key to success in this role.,
