You will be working as a Quantity Surveyor Manager in the Procurement Department based in Bangalore. Reporting to the VP of Procurement, your primary responsibility will be project cost control and maintaining project documentation to ensure compliance. Your role will involve creating Bill of Quantities (BOQ) estimates based on drawings, preparing detailed budgets, conducting market analysis for material rates, monitoring and controlling project costs from start to finish, and assisting in vendor selection through comparative analysis. You will also be required to analyze project status periodically, propose alternative solutions to manage project budgets, and maintain compliance-related documents. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the commercial fit-out industry, excellent research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects accurately. Good communication skills, prospecting abilities, a competitive spirit, and the capacity to collaborate in a team environment are essential. A drive for achieving results and a sound business acumen will be advantageous. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the commercial fit-out industry. A diploma or degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline is required for this position.,
