As a Compensation Business Analyst at Roblox, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive key compensation decisions. Your responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, creating advanced data visualizations, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. By utilizing your expertise in SQL, Python, Tableau, and other visualization tools, you will transform complex compensation data into meaningful insights and interactive dashboards that guide strategic decision-making. In this role, you will also be instrumental in identifying opportunities for automation, process improvements, and re-engineering within compensation programs to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows. Reporting to the Compensation Programs and Analytics Manager, this hybrid role is based in Gurugram, India. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth compensation analysis and develop models to inform and influence business decisions - Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor data integrity and validity - Analyze complex datasets to identify key trends and provide data-driven, actionable insights - Create materials for effective communication of strategic priorities and key findings to the senior leadership team - Contribute to the development and implementation of global compensation programs, particularly compensation review cycles - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for operational efficiency, automation, and process enhancements - Drive small to mid-sized projects from inception to delivery using project management skills Qualifications: - Bachelor's/master's degree with 2+ years of experience in data analytics/visualization or a related field - Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and programming languages such as Python, R, or similar - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Hex - Experience in Google Sheets or Excel for building data analyses and developing automated models - Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline development - Strong project management skills At Roblox, you will enjoy industry-leading compensation, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a rewarding 401k program, and a flexible vacation policy.
