Community Medical officer

You are looking for a dedicated Medical Officer with an MBBS degree from a reputed NMC-recognized medical college in India, registered with NMC / State Medical Council. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience post-internship. This role requires extensive travel across Jharkhand and Odisha to conduct community-based screening for cancers such as Oral Cancer, Breast Cancer, and Cervical Cancer. As a Medical Officer, you will lead a team of 08 medical professionals responsible for the cancer screening activities. Your duties will include data capture, data analysis, and coordination of all field operations for a large-scale community-based cancer screening project. The long-term goal is to establish a rural cancer registry in eastern India. Reporting to the Director of the hospital specializing in comprehensive cancer care, you should be a team player with the ability to effectively lead a diverse medical team in field settings. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in community-based cancer screening and working with large datasets. Fluency in Hindi and Odia will be an advantage for this role.
