Job Description

The role of a CDE Specialist is crucial in ensuring that the projects" Common Data Environment (CDE) within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is structured efficiently based on engineering and site requirements. You will collaborate with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors worldwide to facilitate the smooth flow of information through the CDE. As a specialist in Common Data Environment, your responsibilities include managing the creation, storage, sharing, and utilization of digital content within the ACC to support construction projects and adhere to industry standards. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Establishing a clear and effective structure for the Common Data Environment (CDE) in ACC, aligning with engineering and site needs. - Organizing project data, files, and documents within the ACC platform. - Ensuring project members adhere to communication, delivery, and publishing protocols within ACC. - Verifying that engineering deliveries are in accordance with agreed formats and timelines. - Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for timely project deliveries. - Managing access to the project ACC and its content, including granting and revoking access as required. - Supporting new project members in understanding ACC processes during onboarding. - Ensuring the integrity of electronic information transfer within the ACC. - Serving as the primary contact for ACC-related matters among construction managers, subcontractors, owners, design teams, and other stakeholders. - Providing regular progress reports on document status and ACC information projects as per management's needs. - Collaborating with clients and consultants on BIM standards and processes. - Ensuring compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Upholding Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and fostering a supportive work environment. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 1 to 3 years of work experience. - Proficiency in BIM Processes Nomenclature convention for deliverables and processes. - Knowledge of various CDEs like ACC, BIM360, Xecm, and Projectwise. - Experience in implementing interconnected Electronic Data Management Systems. - Familiarity with inter-disciplinary coordination workflows. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
