The ideal candidate will have expertise in OpenText technologies, including Content Server, xECM for SAP, Archive Center, and other related modules. This role involves working closely with clients to analyze business needs, provide technical recommendations, and ensure successful solution deployment. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Implementation: Design and implement OpenText ECM solutions tailored to business needs. Configure and customize OpenText products, including Content Server, xECM. Integrate OpenText with SAP, SharePoint, and other enterprise applications. Client Engagement & Consulting: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand content management requirements. Provide best practices and technical recommendations for OpenText implementations. Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for users and IT teams. Technical Development & Support: Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design solutions that meet the needs of the business. Configure and test SAP OpenText solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Provide training and support to end-users on the use of SAP OpenText solutions. Develop workflows, metadata models, and business rules within OpenText solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OpenText applications. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation and go-live phases. Adhere to project timelines. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of OpenText ECM suite, including Content Server, Archive Server, xECM. Experience with OpenText-SAP integrations (xECM for SAP). Proficiency in OTDS (OpenText Directory Services), OScript, WebReports, LAPI, REST API, and Java/.NET scripting. Functional Knowledge: Experience with document management, workflow automation, records management, and compliance solutions. Understanding of enterprise content governance and security best practices. Project & Consulting Skills: Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Job Title: OpenText xECM Consultant / Senior Consultant / Architect Experience: 4 to 16 Years Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for experienced professionals skilled in OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) to join our growing ECM practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting OpenText xECM solutions for enterprise clients. Depending on your experience, you'll contribute as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Solution Architect in various projects across industry domains. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain solutions using OpenText xECM (including Content Server, Extended ECM for SAP/SuccessFactors/Office 365, etc.). Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Configure and customize xECM components including Business Workspaces, Smart UI, REST APIs, and integrations. Develop workflows using OpenText Workflow Engine, WebReports, and LiveReports. Integrate xECM with third-party platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365). Support upgrade, migration, and patching activities. Lead or contribute to solution architecture, technical design, and delivery planning. Provide technical documentation, training, and post-implementation support. Mentor junior team members and conduct code/design reviews (for senior roles). Required Skills and Qualifications: 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in ECM technologies with at least 3+ years in OpenText xECM. Strong knowledge of OpenText Content Server , xECM for SAP/Office 365/SuccessFactors , and Archive Center . Proficiency in OTDS , WebReports , LiveReports , Smart UI , and RESTful APIs . Experience with system integration using SAP ILM , OpenText Archive Server , or other ERP/CRM systems. Working knowledge of Java , JavaScript , HTML5 , and XML is a plus. Familiarity with cloud deployments (OpenText Cloud, Azure, AWS) is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications: OpenText certifications (xECM, Content Server, Archive Center). Candidate should have knowledge on xECM scenarios including, OpenText ECM , ArchiveLink, ECMlink and its related functionalities . 2. Candidate must have knowledge on technical integration of xECM components which includes OpenText Content server, OTDS, Archive center, Enterprise Scan, Document pipeline etc. with SAP. 3. Candidate should be familiar with SAP screen and should have knowledge on Business objects, transaction codes, basic Tables , Troubleshooting knowledge on SAP as well as Content server . 4. Hands on experience on Contents server configurations for xECM scenarios. 5. Candidate should be able to work with SAP functional and technical team for full filling the client's requirement. 6. Candidate should have knowledge of Linux operating system. 7. Good to have knowledge on Content Server REST APIs for Portal or any third party integration and can be able to work with other application developers to provide the solution. 8.
