Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our Commissioning and Support team. This role will focus on the design, commissioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the GXC Private LTE/5G solution for enterprise customers across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical expertise, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, to successfully run the projects independently, while remotely coordinating and supporting customers and installation partners throughout the deployment lifecycle

Responsibilities

Design the RF and Core Network for LTE and 5G ORAN-based private networks.

Perform configuration of eNodeBs, gNBs/RUs, core network elements (MME/AMF, SGW/PGW, SMF/UPF), Routers and switches as per the network design

Perform acceptance testing to validate customer use cases work as expected

Provide L2/L3 support to meet the SLAs

Execute maintenance window upgrades for network elements with minimal disruption.

Collaborate with customers and installation partners remotely to support commissioning, deployment, and post-deployment monitoring and troubleshooting.

Stage product demonstrations to customers

Educate and train customers for troubleshooting of the network

Qualifications

B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (or equivalent).

810 years of hands-on experience as a Deployment Engineer / Network Engineer in LTE/5G networks.

Strong understanding of LTE and 5G ORAN architecture, call flows and protocols RRC, NGAP, and S1AP.

Proven expertise in RF planning/design and Core Network design.

Proficiency in interpreting protocol traces and logs (e.g., Wireshark, QXDM).

Hands on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of eNodeBs, gNBs/RUs, and core nodes (MME/AMF, SGW/PGW, SMF/UPF).

Methodical approach in problem-solving to debug Live field issues such as UE throughput degradation, session failures / disconnects and handover failures

Configure and troubleshoot networking issues on IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.

Knowledge of drive test methodologies is preferred and hands-on experience with one or more RF planning tools.

Excellent communication skills for remote coordination with customers, partners, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Flexible working in rotational shifts (US and Europe coverage).
