Location: Bengaluru, India Position Type: Regular full time Summary: Altiostar is looking for a technology thought leader with a dynamic personality to design system specifications, end to end system level call flows for EUTRA and NR RAN features. Job Responsibilities: Build system specifications covering the following for different RAN features in EUTRA and NR radio access technologies (RAT): End to end call flows Configuration required Performance measurement aspects Fault monitoring aspects Security Test setup for testing the end to end flows Key test scenarios that should be addressed in the system Interface with customers to understand the feature requests and build the system specifications as mentioned above. Interface with engineering teams to get the system specification implemented in software. Interface with QA teams to transform the system specification into detailed test specifications for end to end test execution. Closely follow 3GPP and O-RAN standards to understand the end to end system impacts (from UE to core network and from physical layer to RRC / PDCP layer level impacts). Education and Experience: Master of Science degree or above - Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering. Deep technical knowledge of 5G, LTE and LTE-Advanced technology especially in the area of RAN protocol layers and their management aspects. Attention to details and a thorough reader of 3GPP / O-RAN specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good experience in writing detailed specification documents. Construct SoC level testbench re-using verification components developed at the IP/ Subsystem level.
