Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation & Cooking

Prepare and cook dishes as per menu and guest requirements across respective departments (Indian, Continental, Chinese, Tandoor, Bakery, etc.)
Ensure taste, quality, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
Supervise junior kitchen staff and assist them in day-to-day operations.

2. Menu Planning & Development

Assist in creating innovative menus and daily specials based on guest preferences and seasonal availability.
Suggest improvements in recipes, portion sizes, and presentation techniques.

3. Kitchen Operations

Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly maintained and used safely.
Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores departments for ingredient availability.
Control wastage and manage cost-effective kitchen operations.

4. Hygiene & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas.
Follow HACCP and food safety guidelines.
Ensure personal hygiene and grooming standards of all kitchen staff.

5. Team Management & Training

Supervise and train Commis, Helpers, and Stewards in cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Conduct regular briefings to ensure smooth operations and quality consistency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,759.04 - ₹34,685.51 per month
