Job Title: Commi 1 – Pastry Chef

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high hygiene and quality standards in the pastry section.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all baked and dessert items.
• Prepare and assist in the production of pastries, desserts, and bakery items as per menu and standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in the efficient use of ingredients.
• Follow kitchen protocols and work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and kitchen team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Hotel Management or Bakery & Confectionery.
• Completed industrial training in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred (including training period).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, dedicated to kitchen schedules, and passionate about pastry arts.
