Commerce Back End Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for L2 support for SAP Hybris and related systems.
• Investigate and resolve incidents escalated from L1 support, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Analyze application logs, monitor system performance, and carry out root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Provide timely resolution for storefront-related issues, including Cart, Checkout, Search, and Promotions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integrations with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, OMS, etc.
• Collaborate with L3/development teams for deep-dive technical analysis and resolution of code-level issues.
• Ensure timely ticket handling in ITSM systems (ServiceNow, JIRA) while maintaining defined SLA targets.
• Document recurring issues and resolution steps; contribute to the knowledge base and support documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance activities: cache clearing, cronjob monitoring, deployment checks, etc.
• Provide on-call and weekend support as part of a rotational schedule.

Background & Skills Required (Good to Have)

• Strong understanding of Hybris architecture, including data modeling (items.xml, FlexibleSearch), and administrative tools (Backoffice, HAC, HMC).
• Hands-on experience with Impex scripts for data import/export.
• Proficient in Hybris core modules: Product Catalog, Cart, Checkout, Promotions, etc.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools suchslsk as Kibana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Exposure to ITSM tools like ServiceNow or JIRA for incident, change, and problem management.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with an understanding of eCommerce platforms and third-party integrations.
