Job Description

As a College Counselling Manager specializing in Undergraduate Applications at Rostrum Education, located in Onsite, New Delhi, Green Park, you will be part of a premier global education consultancy that guides students towards gaining admission to highly competitive universities in the U.S., U.K., and Canada. At Rostrum Education, we provide comprehensive support to students, starting from building their profiles to making final college decisions, by offering expert mentorship, personalized strategies, and a global perspective. Your role as a Counselling Manager will involve managing and supporting student journeys from onboarding to university placement. You will lead a team of counselors, ensure top-notch guidance across multiple applications, and closely coordinate with mentors and internal teams. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge of international admissions (especially for the U.S., U.K., and Canada), and the ability to handle both strategic planning and execution effectively. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and supporting counselors in managing student applications, coordinating mentorship activities, and communicating with families. You will step in for complex student cases, conduct quality checks on key deliverables such as SOPs, LORs, resumes, essays, and personal statements, and guide students and parents in decision-making and program shortlisting. Additionally, you will assist students in building their profiles and candidacies, recommend resources tailored to their interests and target universities, and supervise junior counselors to ensure students have a clear, personalized admissions roadmap. Furthermore, you will provide structured guidance on the university application processes of the U.S., U.K., and Canada, help students understand equivalency requirements, and advise on scholarship opportunities. You will also act as a reliable point of contact for parents and students, document key student milestones, and share feedback with leadership to enhance the student experience and counseling operations. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's and Master's degree in any discipline (preferably from the U.S., U.K., or Canada), along with 2-4 years of experience in academic counseling, university admissions, or education advising. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and prior experience working directly with students and families are essential. If you have completed a full degree in the U.S., U.K., or Canada, are familiar with undergraduate/postgraduate admissions processes, are detail-oriented and empathetic, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, then joining Rostrum Education will offer you the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the futures of ambitious students and advance your career in a dynamic, international-focused team.,
