Collections Officer (US Process)

As a Collections Specialist in the US Shift, your role involves reviewing and monitoring accounts receivable reports to identify delinquent accounts. You will investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes while maintaining accurate records of all collection activities and customer communications. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing regular aging reports and collection performance summaries. Collaborating with sales, finance, and legal teams to address chronic delinquency or escalate cases will also be a part of your key responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant debt collection laws and company procedures such as FDCPA, CFPB, or local collection regulations is crucial. You will recommend accounts for third-party collection or legal action when necessary and support continuous improvement in collection processes and cash-flow management.
