COBOL Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Works directly with Banking client personnel as a consultant to support FDIC weep program on Agiletics application and support other peripheral banking interfaces.
• Analyzes, designs, and develops COBOL programs based upon user specifications.
• Provides technical assistance in solving software problems.
• Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
• Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to the client.

Required skills:

• 8-10 years of programming in COBOL applications, preferably banking.
• Must have: Cobol, CICS, VSAM
• Nice to have: Easytrieve, Zeke, Changeman, INSYNC, Dumpmaster, Tracemaster, DB2, MQ, Assembler, SQL, SoapUI
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience with FDIC Sweep program, a bonus
