Coating Inspector

As a Coating Inspector at L&T in Surat, Gujarat, your role will involve various tasks related to painting and coating. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting surface preparation tasks such as dry abrasive blasting, hand & power tool cleaning, pickling & passivation. - Applying different coating systems including liquid epoxy coating, thermal sprayed Alu, internal lining, and zinc-based coating. - Utilizing methods of paint application such as airless/conventional spraying, stripe coating, and brush & roller application. - Performing tests on prepared surfaces to check for surface contamination, anchor profile, moisture, adhesion, and coating thickness. - Inspecting coating faults like blisters, blooming, chalking, cracking, sagging, and various other defects. - Conducting painting and coating on equipments and piping, including measuring dry film thickness, wet film thickness, adhesion, chemical resistance, and profile height. Qualifications required for this role include a DME/B.E degree, 8 to 12 years of experience, and certifications in NACE Level II and Bgas Gr I + SA experience is preferable.
