Website - www.cibpl.org Summary The Senior Manager - Corporate Sales is responsible for implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients. Reports to: Executive Vice President Corporate Sales Key Responsibilities Sales Planning: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify business opportunities. Set sales goals and objectives for the corporate sales team. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients. Conduct regular client meetings to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and promotional activities. Qualifications Graduation is MUST . A Masters degree is a plus. Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in corporate sales within the insurance industry/ preferably in a broking firm Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services. Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite. Candidates should possess expertise in Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) insurance products such as Fire, Marine, Burglary, Liability, Project Insurance, Infrastructure, and Engineering. Experience in Employee Benefits (EB) products will be considered an added advantage. There will be no sales targets for the initial 4 to 5 months. Role Expectations: + Graduation is a MUST. A masters degree is a plus. + Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of corporate sales experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a broking firm , with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing General Insurance (Non-EB) products such as Fire, Marine, Burglary, Liability, Project, Infrastructure, and Engineering insurance. Familiarity with Employee Benefits (EB) products will be an added advantage. + Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. + In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services.
