Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC/VMC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring precision machining of components as per design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC/VMC machines as per job order and engineering drawings.

Load raw materials and tools, and ensure correct fixture and tool alignment.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.

Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensions and tolerances within specified limits.

Monitor machining operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

Conduct routine inspection and measurement of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Perform preventive maintenance and ensure machines are in good working condition.

Maintain records of production output and quality reports.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors for process improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die Making.

2–5 years of experience as CNC/VMC Operator.

Good knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming basics.

Hands-on experience in tool offsets, setting jobs, and changing inserts.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measuring instruments.

Attention to detail and precision.

Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
