Job Summary

Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks

• Comply with the company's Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• CNC Machine programming.
• Performs machining operation as per work procedure and relevant SOP's.
• Check product on completion meets required drawing specifications.
• Accurately complete work instruction on job completion.
• Submit work instruction to the QA Department for check and final sign off.
• Responsible for general housekeeping on and around work area.
• Additional duties may be required within job holder's area of competence to fulfil the company's needs.
  

Necessary Qualifications, Skills And Abilities

Education / Qualification:

• Times served machinist
  

Experience

• 5+ years previous experience with CNC Turning.
• Experience Programming and operating machines with Mazatrol.
• Experience Programing and operating on Haas lathes.
• Experience creating programs with Heidenheim and Fanuc (desirable).
• Experience with the machining of Ceramics (Boron Nitride components) (desirable)
  

Technical Skills

• CNC Turning operations.
• CNC Milling (desirable).
• Manual Lathe operations.
• Competent use of Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Shadow Graphs.
• Manual handling.
• Demonstrated competency in various machining techniques.
