Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter with experience in the orthopedic manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up CNC machines, ensuring product precision, and maintaining machining efficiency for the production of high-quality orthopedic implants. Responsibilities Set up and prepare CNC machines (VMC) for daily operations. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters. Load raw materials and set machine parameters to start production. Perform first-off inspections to ensure dimensions and tolerances meet quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to ensure product precision and consistency. Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot any mechanical or quality issues. Perform routine maintenance checks and keep machines in optimal condition. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure product specifications. Document daily production activities and maintain setup sheets. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a regulated manufacturing environment. Experience & Qualifications 2-5 years of experience as a CNC Setter, preferably in orthopedic or related industry or precision engineering industry. Hands-on experience with CNC machines ( VMC) Experience in handling medical-grade metals like titanium, stainless steel, and cobalt chrome is preferred. Familiarity with G-code programming , offsets, and tool calibration. Strong understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) . ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
