CNC Programmer

You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC & VMC machines (Turning, Milling with 4th axis) to produce parts according to drawing specifications. You will need to read and interpret engineering drawings, have proficiency in G-code and CAM software, and select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Additionally, you will be required to perform quality checks using measuring instruments and troubleshoot machining issues as they arise, making necessary adjustments to programs or setups. It will also be part of your role to maintain equipment, ensure machines are in good working condition, and document production activities accurately. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC & VMC machines for part production - Read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T knowledge - Create and modify CNC programs using G-code and CAM software - Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining - Perform quality checks using measuring instruments - Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs or setups - Maintain equipment and ensure machines are in good working condition - Document production activities and maintain accurate records Qualifications & Skills: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC (Turning and Milling) operation and programming - Proficiency in G-code and CAM software - Understanding of machining principles and material properties - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T - Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Skills: - Experience with CNC turning and VMC (4th axis) - Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices - Basic knowledge of ERP systems and production planning Please note that CIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.,
