CNC Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring that all work meets quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor the production process to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and making adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges).
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Document production processes, including tool changes, run times, and any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with engineering and production team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC operation is a plus.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and programming, such as G-code.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for regrinding and refurbishing various types of saw blades to restore them to optimal cutting performance. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our cutting tools in production.Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate regrinding machines to sharpen and refurbish saw blades according to specifications.
• Inspect blades for damage and assess their condition to determine the appropriate regrinding process.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for regrinding and maintaining saw blades.
• Monitor grinding operations to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary.
• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to verify blade sharpness and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
