Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe machines according to production drawings and process instructions. Load raw materials and fixtures, and align workpieces accurately. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, offsets, and fixtures. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges. Make necessary adjustments to machine parameters to maintain product quality. Maintain daily production and inspection records. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure smooth operation. Report tool wear, machine issues, or deviations to the supervisor immediately. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment. Skills & Competencies: Hands-on experience in CNC VTL machine operation and setup. Perform machine offset adjustments and tool changes as necessary. Interpret and verify CNC programs (G & M codes) to ensure proper machine operation. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators. Maintain production logs and inspection reports accurately. Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per the drawing and customer requirements. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines. Report any equipment malfunction, tool wear, or non-conformance to the supervisor immediately. Follow workplace safety and 5S housekeeping standards.
