CNC VTL machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe machines according to production drawings and process instructions.
• Load raw materials and fixtures, and align workpieces accurately.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, offsets, and fixtures.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine parameters to maintain product quality.
• Maintain daily production and inspection records.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure smooth operation.
• Report tool wear, machine issues, or deviations to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in CNC VTL machine operation and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and G-code programs.
• Knowledge of machining parameters and cutting tools.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection methods.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and coordinate systems.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
