Job Responsibilities – CNC Multi-Boring Operator (HOMAG BHX 050)1. Machine Operation

· Operate the HOMAG BHX 050 CNC boring machine for drilling, routing, and grooving tasks.

· Load and unload wooden panels or components onto the machine table.

· Start and monitor the machine cycle as per job specifications.

· Ensure proper clamping, alignment, and referencing of the workpiece.

2. Program Handling

· Retrieve and run pre-loaded CNC programs from the HOMAG control system (power Touch interface or similar).

· Adjust tool offsets, parameters, and machine settings as per material and drawing requirements.

· Perform manual program edits (if required) under supervision or based on skill level.

3. Tool Setup & Maintenance

· Install and change boring heads, drills, or router bits as per the operation chart.

· Inspect tools for wear and replace or report when needed.

· Maintain tool condition to avoid poor-quality holes or misalignments.

4. Quality Control

· Verify part dimensions and hole locations using measuring tools like calipers, tape, or templates.

· Check the finished components against production drawings or work orders.

· Mark and report defective or misdrilled parts.

5. Machine Maintenance & Cleaning

· Perform routine cleaning of machine table, spindles, and sensors.

· Lubricate moving parts as per maintenance schedule.

· Report technical issues or alarms to maintenance or supervisors.

6. Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain job sheets, production logs, and tool usage records.

· Report daily output, rejections, and downtime to the production manager or supervisor.

· Keep records of completed job batches for traceability.

7. Safety & Housekeeping

· Follow safety procedures for CNC machine handling and PPE usage.

· Keep the workstation clean and organized.

· Be alert to abnormal machine noises or malfunctions and take prompt action.

8. Collaboration & Communication

· Coordinate with the programming team (CAD/CAM) and QC for design and accuracy.

· Work with the production team to meet output targets.

· Suggest improvements in process or tooling for efficiency or quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
