Cluster Supervisor for School

The DAV Group - Chennai, functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1,200 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.

In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into Higher Education with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.

Apart from schools, the group has journeyed into multiple other areas - teacher training, in-house publications, sports academy, creative arts academy, Vedic Sanskriti School, coaching for various competitive exams and DAV School of Public Policy. In addition, the group offers a whole range of social outreach services in various sectors like health & wellness, natural farming etc.

The Cluster Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting a group of schools within a designated area to ensure effective teaching, learning, and school management. The role involves providing academic guidance, monitoring school operations, mentoring teachers, supporting principals, and ensuring compliance with organizational or government education standards.

1. Academic Supervision

· Monitor teaching and learning processes across schools in the cluster.

· Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.

· Support implementation of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices.

· Identify training needs and coordinate professional development for staff.

2. School Management Support

· Provide guidance to school heads/principals on administration, discipline, and planning.

· Ensure timely reporting and accurate record-keeping at each school.

· Monitor enrollment, attendance, and retention of students.

· Support the implementation of school improvement plans.

· Mentor and coach school leaders and teachers.

· Encourage best practices across the cluster.

· Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among schools.

· Conduct regular visits to schools and prepare monitoring reports.

· Collect and analyze data on student performance, teacher effectiveness, and school operations.

· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, government regulations, and quality standards.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

· Liaise with parents, communities, and local education authorities to strengthen school–community relationships.

· Facilitate communication between schools and the central/regional office.

· Support in resolving conflicts, concerns, and grievances at the school level.

Preferred:

· Minumum 2+ Years in a supervisory or leadership role.

· Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.

· Ability to analyze data and use insights for decision-making.

· Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned cluster.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
