As a Cloud Platform Developer at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape and drive innovation by leveraging cutting-edge technology. Your role will involve working as part of a team of developers to deliver a technology stack that meets business requirements and delivers quality solutions. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain data architectures pipelines to enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data. - Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that manage appropriate data volumes and velocity while adhering to required security measures. - Develop processing and analysis algorithms suitable for the intended data complexity and volumes. - Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models. Qualifications Required: - Expert understanding of data lake and warehouse. - Broad knowledge of public cloud services. - Good understanding of data governance methodologies. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. - Proven team player supporting colleagues to achieve team objectives. - Critical thinking skills.
