Job Description

As a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, your role involves providing a managed service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving cloud-based incidents and problems. Your primary objective will be to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions and manage high complexity tickets. Your judgment and independent analysis skills will be crucial in achieving client outcomes while also coaching and mentoring junior team members. - Ensure that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational. - Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts. - Identify problems and errors proactively, log all incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail. - Assist in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls. - Investigate third-line support calls assigned, identify the root cause of incidents and problems. - Report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary. - Provide onsite technical support to clients and field engineering services. - Conduct monthly random reviews of incidents and service requests, analyze, and recommend quality improvements. - Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization and automation. - Manage and implement projects within the technology domain as required. - Work on disaster recovery functions and tests. - Perform any other related tasks as required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing. - Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional, VMware Certified Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, etc. - Extensive experience with VMWare and related technologies. - Seasoned experience in an Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization. - Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes.
