Your Role 
The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture for our cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security architecture, with a proven track record of securing cloud-based systems and applications. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and ImplementationDevelop and implement security architecture for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Risk AssessmentConduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and weaknesses.
  • Security PoliciesCreate and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
  • ComplianceEnsure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Incident ResponseDevelop and manage incident response plans for cloud security breaches.
  • CollaborationWork closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams to integrate security into the cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Monitoring and ReportingImplement and manage security monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Continuous ImprovementStay updated with the latest cloud security trends and technologies and continuously improve the security posture of the organization.

  • Required Qualifications
  • EducationBachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience9-12 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years specifically in a Cloud Security Architect role.
  • CertificationsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and secure software development practices.
