Your Role
The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture for our cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security architecture, with a proven track record of securing cloud-based systems and applications. Key Responsibilities
Design and ImplementationDevelop and implement security architecture for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Risk AssessmentConduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and weaknesses. Security PoliciesCreate and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments. ComplianceEnsure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001). Incident ResponseDevelop and manage incident response plans for cloud security breaches. CollaborationWork closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams to integrate security into the cloud infrastructure and applications. Monitoring and ReportingImplement and manage security monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to security incidents. Continuous ImprovementStay updated with the latest cloud security trends and technologies and continuously improve the security posture of the organization.

Required QualificationsEducationBachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Experience9-12 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years specifically in a Cloud Security Architect role. CertificationsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate. Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, etc.). Knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and secure software development practices.
