Description
As a member of the Cloud and Productivity Engineering Organisation at the London Stock Exchange Group, you will be responsible for owning and delivering modern application solutions using containerization. Innovation is a central theme of this program, and your role will continuously evolve to align with business change, security requirements, and the digital strategy of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving the acceleration, adoption, and migration of applications to the public cloud, with a primary focus on utilizing containerization for the majority of LSEG / Refinitiv estate. - Analyzing, designing, and implementing Container infrastructure solutions in alignment with LSEG standards and procedures. - Designing and implementing infrastructure processes such as service requests and capacity management for container platforms and environmental components. - Monitoring resource utilization rates, identifying potential bottlenecks, efficiency improvements, and cost-saving opportunities, and implementing necessary enhancements. - Supporting knowledge management by creating, maintaining, and improving documentation including solution design documents, knowledge articles, and Wikis. Lifecycle management of all Container platforms. Evaluating tools and applications for managing/monitoring Container infrastructure. - Developing long-term technical design, architecture, and implementation of LSEG services. Creating long-term roadmaps for container platforms and peripherals. - Collaborating with various teams to devise solutions that align with customer project requirements. Working closely with the Group CISO and broader IT security teams to enhance security controls. - Communicating and collaborating with cloud platform "customers" and engaging with senior stakeholders up to C Level. - Playing a key role in implementation by creating long-term roadmaps for container platforms and peripherals. Ensuring feedback and learning are leveraged effectively and promptly. Qualifications required for this role: - Demonstrated deep technical expertise in related infrastructure technologies. - Experience with SDLC, Continuous Integration & Delivery, Application Security, Quality Assurance. - Familiarity with platforms like Istio, Serverless, Kubernetes. - Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Product Development processes. - Exposure to DevSecOps and Continuous Change culture. - Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Rust, Go, Python). - Experience in a senior technology role within a public cloud environment, preferably with AWS or Azure, in the container space. - Ability to drive technological and cultural change towards rapid technology adoption. - Strong team player with excellent planning and communication skills, capable of leading discussions with development and product teams. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively influence others. - Experience working in agile environments under a DevOps culture.
