Cloud and IT Security Analyst

As a Cloud & IT Security Analyst at Evergent, your role will involve planning and implementing security measures to safeguard Evergent SaaS systems, internal networks, and data platform. It is crucial to stay updated on the latest information security intelligence to predict and prevent security breaches effectively. You will be responsible for monitoring and protecting organizational cloud infrastructure, conducting security assessments, and responding to security incidents. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and protect organizational cloud infrastructure and IT systems - Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and Pen Testing, DAST, and SAST - Analyze security logs, investigate potential threats, and implement security controls and policies - Manage cloud security configurations and respond to/mitigate security incidents - Assist with annual Security Audits for PCI-DSS, SSAE18, GDPR, and more - Respond to Client RFP/RFI related to Evergent Security - Protect the system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources - Implement security improvements by assessing the current situation and evaluating trends to anticipate requirements **Qualifications Required:** - Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) - Understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, risk management, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) - Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS - Typical Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, (ISC) CCSP, CISSP - Educational Requirements: BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or any Bachelor's degree in computer science - Preferred Skills: 4 to 8 years of experience in information technology or security, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities - Technical Knowledge in UNIX, AIX, Linux, Cisco Network IDS, Cisco Host-based IDS, eTrust Access Control, ESM, IDS, DES encryption, Digital Certificates, SSL, VPN, IPSec, TCP/IP, DNS, web security architecture, mySQL, subversion, AntiVirus Join Evergent, a global leader in Customer Lifecycle Management, and be part of an amazing global team that manages over 560M+ user accounts across 180+ countries for top carriers and media companies worldwide.
