Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with strong medical terminology knowledge to support doctors in day-to-day clinical operations. The role involves accurately typing prescriptions as per the doctor’s guidelines, assisting in OPD activities, and providing effective counselling to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately document and type medical prescriptions as instructed by the doctor.

Ensure clarity, correctness, and compliance with medical guidelines in documentation.

Assist in patient registration, record maintenance, and OPD workflow.

Provide patient counselling regarding treatment plans, medication usage, and follow-up instructions under the supervision of the doctor.

Support doctors during OPD by coordinating with patients and ensuring smooth consultation flow.

Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to healthcare compliance standards.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation.

Ability to follow medical guidelines precisely and communicate effectively.

Good interpersonal skills for patient interaction and counselling.

Proficiency in typing and computer-based medical record systems.

Prior experience in hospital/clinic OPD will be an added advantage.

Qualification:

Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field preferred.

Candidates with prior clinical/medical transcription experience will be given preference.
