Job Description

As an integral part of our team responsible for running a portfolio of early phase clinical research trials, including academic & pharmaceutical studies, your role involves being part of an exceptional team of motivated and enthusiastic nurses and administrative staff. You should be a highly motivated individual with good interpersonal and organisational skills, thriving on both independent work and teamwork. Attention to detail, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels are crucial. Previous administrative work experience, preferably within an NHS hospital healthcare setting, is required. A full induction & orientation programme will be provided to support you in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the coordination and management of early phase clinical research trials - Provide administrative support to the team - Liaise with various stakeholders across different establishments - Maintain accurate records and documentation - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Qualifications Required: - Previous administrative work experience, preferably in an NHS hospital healthcare setting - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office applications - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team The University of Southampton offers 20 days of annual leave increasing annually, along with 8 bank holidays and an additional 6 extra statutory leave days over Easter & Christmas (pro rata).
