Job Description

Role Overview

Clinical Housekeeping Staff

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, treatment rooms, and common areas according to hospital protocols.
Properly dispose of medical and general waste, adhering to infection control and biomedical waste management guidelines.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
Assist in sterilization of medical equipment, instruments, and reusable medical devices.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or breaches in hygiene protocols to the supervisor.
Follow infection control procedures, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Support the clinical team by ensuring a safe and organized environment for patients and staff.
Participate in training programs on hospital hygiene, infection control, and safety practices.
