Job Description

You will be responsible for Clinical Documentation Improvement (Inpatient) as part of a team of 10 resources. Your role will involve reviewing medical record documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, including a thorough review of disease processes, diagnostic findings, and identifying any missing documentation. In order to qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years of IPDRG coding experience and hold a CDIP certification. As a Clinical Documentation Improvement specialist, it is crucial for you to have a combination of clinical and medical coding backgrounds. Your primary task will be to review inpatient medical record documentation, identify any ambiguities or incomplete information, and communicate with healthcare providers to clarify and complete the documentation before claim submission. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires you to work in person at the designated work location.,
