As a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist for inpatient services, your role involves reviewing medical record documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. You will be responsible for assessing disease processes, diagnostic findings, and identifying any missing documentation. With a background in both clinical and medical coding, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that inpatient medical records are thoroughly reviewed before claim submission. Key Responsibilities: - Review inpatient medical record documentation - Identify any ambiguities or incomplete information - Query providers for clarification when necessary - Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate for claim submission Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of IPDRG coding experience - CDIP certification Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The work location is in person.
