About the Company

Infinita Lab, a Silicon Valleybased company in material testing services, is seeking a motivated Client Engagement Engineer to manage high-profile US clients such as Amazon, Applied Materials, GAF Energy, Shell, Parker Hannifin, Tesla, NASA and others.

About the Role

This role blends technical consulting with inbound sales. You'll provide tailored material testing solutions, ensure seamless service delivery, and foster strong client relationships. As the bridge between our labs and clients, you'll play a key role in advancing cutting-edge projects across aerospace, semiconductor, polymer, medical device, chemicals, advanced materials, energy, and sustainability sectors, while contributing to Infinita's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building

    - Engage with customers in a positive, approachable, and respectful manner. Assist customers with product inquiries, providing in-depth product knowledge and suggestions based on their needs.
  • Consultative Solution Selling

    - Leverage your technical knowledge to understand client requirements and recommend tailored material testing solutions. Present Infinita Lab as a strategic partner, aligning our services with client R&D and certification goals. Drive the sales process for inbound leads, ensuring timely responses and smooth closures.
  • Operational Coordination

    - Engage with clients via calls, emails, and meetings to refine requirements and ensure clarity on testing objectives. Coordinate with internal teams to increase workflow efficiency, strengthen vendor relationships, and exceed client expectations.
  • Account Management

    - Oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, proactively identifying opportunities for service expansion. Track client satisfaction and address concerns to strengthen relationships.
  • Targeted Reachout Activities

    - Participate in targeted outreach efforts to expand the sales funnel and support business growth. Strategize, implement, and drive outreach initiatives for both existing and outbound clients.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Material Science, Metallurgical & Materials, Polymer, Ceramic, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Applicants from Electrical, Electronics, IT, and Computer Science backgrounds will not be considered.
  • 02 years of experience in technical consulting, client engagement, or material science-related work.

Required Skills

  • Confidence and communication skills to engage effectively with US-based clients and high-profile accounts.
  • Capability to interpret client needs and connect them with the right testing approaches.
  • Familiarity with materials, their properties, and characterization techniques; awareness of industry-standard testing protocols.
  • Strong written and verbal skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High energy, eagerness to learn, and commitment to delivering excellence.
  • Strong cultural fit for a start-up environment with the ability to take on responsibilities beyond core operations.
