Cleanroom Technician

You will be joining QpiAI as a Customer Success Intern, where you will have the opportunity to be the friendly face and support system for learners post-enrollment. Your role is crucial in building client relationships, gaining operational experience, and deepening product knowledge for potential full-time opportunities based on your performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform routine maintenance and inspections of cleanroom facility systems such as HVAC, chillers, exhaust, compressed air, DI water, and gas lines. - Operate equipment and machinery within a controlled environment while following cleanroom gowning protocols. - Support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure. - Monitor building management systems (BMS) and environmental control systems for alarms or abnormal conditions. - Check environmental conditions daily (temperature, humidity, particle count) and report any deviations. - Accurately document all procedures and processes in batch records or logs with checklists. - Handle and transport materials in compliance with contamination control guidelines. - Adhere to strict gowning protocols, hygiene standards, and safety regulations. - Assist with cleanroom validations, equipment calibration, and inspections as required. - Immediately report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors. **Requirements:** - Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical or equivalent qualification. - Previous experience working in a cleanroom, laboratory, or controlled environment is advantageous. - 2+ years of facility maintenance experience, preferably in a cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing setting. - Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems. You will be working in a cleanroom environment with strict environmental controls, requiring frequent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
