Key Roles & Responsibilities: Role models Engaging Leader behaviours to build a high-performing team. Accountable to the 24-hour platform results specifically related to safety and process losses. Supports and leads capability development of the platform members as per the Technician Career System to identify, measure, and drive out losses by providing coaching, support, direction, and ongoing feedback. Supports DDS process for the platform and coaches DDS for the line. Ensures data accuracy according to Capacity Analysis rules and helps the team leverage this data to identify, prioritize, and eliminate losses. Owns CIL (Clean-Inspect-Lubricate) & CL (Centreline) daily management system across the platform and coaches technicians on system ownership. Supports the development of the loss tree and glidepath and leads execution of portions of the 90-Day improvement plan. Supports the Platform Leader's quality functional ownership by ensuring lines meet product attributes and process parameters. Applies advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses. Drives SPC (Statistical Process Control) to support overuse and overpack reduction. Acts as a subject matter expert for Rapid Changeover and drives out planned losses. Leads change management and validation processes for system and process changes. Coaches problem-solving methodologies to enable technicians to eliminate root causes of problems. Fosters an inclusive environment where cross-boundary collaboration and best practice sharing occur. Partners with the Engineering team on capital and product commercialization. Follows a personal development plan to build technical skills and support trainer and qualifier needs via the Technician Career System. Develops deep understanding of DMS (Daily Management Systems) like CIL, CL, DH, BE, etc. Applies Reward and Recognition System expectations at the team and individual level. Can fill in for Platform Leader and Maintenance Leader during short-term absence. HSE Responsibilities: Ensures safety of associates, contractors, products, and property. Drives HSE culture via leadership, team engagement, and effective policy deployment. Ensures compliance with GMI GSE standards and local legislation. Food Safety & Quality: Ensures implementation of General Mills Quality Policies and Food Safety requirements. Continuously improves FSQ performance through communication and capability building. Others: Maintains healthy industrial relations at shop floor level. Ensures appropriate escalation of grievances or complaints. Competencies / Skills: Zero Loss Culture Mindset Engaging Leader Role Model Agility to learn technical capability of the assigned platform Key Interfaces: HR, FSQ, Engineering, Projects, and Supply Chain Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Food Science 46 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG and Food industries Strong experience in loss recovery, coaching, and people management

Technical Expertise & Problem Solving Uses technical expertise to support platform quality and ensure product/process standards. Coaches teams on problem-solving methods to identify and eliminate root causes. Develops a deep understanding of all DMS (CIL, CL, DH, BE, etc.) to enhance coaching impact and loss analysis. Partners with Engineering for capital projects and product commercialization. Compliance & Safety Ensures safety of associates, contractors, products, and property within the plant. Drives an HSE culture via leadership, team engagement, and policy deployment. Ensures compliance with GMI GSE Standards and relevant local legislation. Ensures effective implementation of General Mills Quality Policies and Food Safety requirements. People & Industrial Relations Maintains good industrial relations on the shop floor using bipartite forums. Ensures proper escalation and resolution of employee grievances or complaints. Competencies / Skills Zero Loss Culture mindset Engaging leader and role model behavior Agility in learning and applying technical capabilities related to assigned platforms Key Interfaces Collaborates with internal functions like HR, FSQ, Engineering, Projects, and Supply Chain Interfaces with specialists and cross-functional stakeholders at the site Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Food Science from a recognized institute 46 years of manufacturing experience with strong focus on loss recovery online Proven coaching and people management capabilities Prior experience in the FMCG sector is a must Experience in the food industry is preferred
