As a Civil Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings of civil structural engineering projects, including plans, elevations, and cross-sections. You will collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafted designs. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software is required, along with knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials. In this role, you will utilize CAD software to create and modify drawings, maintaining an organized and up-to-date digital filing system. You will also revise drawings based on feedback from project managers, architects, and other team members. It is essential to keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to enhance drafting techniques and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team environment are crucial, as well as the ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements. This position is available as full-time, part-time, or freelance, with a contract length of 24 months. The expected hours are 24 per week, with the benefit of working from home. The schedule is during the day shift and includes a performance bonus. The preferred experience for this role is a total of 1 year.
