Civil Head - Projects

Responsibilities

• Leading the civil engineering team in project planning, design, and execution
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
• Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
• Expertise in Civil construction & structure for thermal powerplant.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Providing technical guidance and expertise on civil engineering matters
• Implementing best practices to optimize project efficiency and quality
• Overseeing the procurement of materials and services for civil works
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
• Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during project execution
• Reporting project status, milestones, and risks to senior management
• Experienced in heading the civil department, also handling the team of 30-40.
• Civil construction experience in BTG, BOP, CHP, water intake and other packages.
• Expertise in all type of structures in power plant.
• Must have greenfield or brown filed power plant experiences.
• In-depth understanding of construction methods and materials
  

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
  

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Attention to detail and quality orientation
  

• Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
• In-depth understanding of construction methods and materials
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
  

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor&aposs degree in civil engineering or related field
• Master&aposs degree in civil engineering (preferred)
  

• 25-30 years of total experience in the 10+ in Power/Energy industry
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing civil engineering projects
• Proven experience in overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery
