Job Description

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Department: Projects / Construction

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all site construction activities and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare and update
BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
and coordinate with the estimation team for cost planning.
Draft, review, and process
Work Orders
and
Contracts
.
Prepare and review
AutoCAD drawings
, site layouts, and technical designs.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
Monitor material usage and ensure adherence to specifications and budgets.
Maintain daily work progress reports and update project timelines.
Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Resolve site-level technical issues and communicate progress to management.
Verify contractor bills and assist in quantity measurement for billing purposes.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in
AutoCAD
and basic project management software (MS Project, Excel).
Strong understanding of
BOQ preparation
, work orders, and contract management.
Good knowledge of construction techniques, standards, and safety norms.
Excellent coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage labour teams and work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering.
2-5 years of relevant site experience in real estate or infrastructure projects.
Experience in handling BOQ, AutoCAD, and vendor coordination is essential.
