i) Responsible for planning, executing and managing civil construction activities in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
ii) Envision the entire structure of a building, providing innovative ideas and designs and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
iii) Conduct technical and feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects, considering factors like cost, environmental impact and resource availability.
iv) Creation of detailed blueprints and technical drawings by using advanced software tools and should be based on project specifications.
v) Overseeing the construction activities to ensure projects are built according to plans and specifications.
vi) Collaborate with multi disciplinary teams to ensure projects are successful.
vii) Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor in compliance with building and safety regulations.
viii) Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and technological advancements in civil engineering for continuous improvement.
ix) Monitor project progress, quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
The Civil Engineer will play a vital role by providing a wide range of tasks throughout the lifecycle of a project, from initial planning & designing to construction oversight and ongoing maintenance in compliance with business codes, regulations and safety standards. It should be focused on conducting detailed structural calculations and analysis, utilizing advanced software tools to stimulate and predict structural behavior under various conditions.
