Job Description

Role & responsibilities Job Title: Civil Engineer Job Summary: Responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, and water supply systems. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and manage resources efficiently. Perform soil testing and analyze survey reports. Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Resolve engineering problems and provide technical guidance. Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Relevant professional certification or licensure preferred. Proficiency in CAD and civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
