Description
We are looking for a Draftsman Civil / Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for both freshers and experienced candidates who are passionate about the civil engineering field and have a strong understanding of drafting techniques and civil construction. You will be involved in the preparation of technical drawings, site plans, and structural designs for construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Technical Drawing & Drafting: Prepare, review, and modify detailed technical drawings for civil projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.). Produce accurate, clear, and detailed plans, sections, and elevations as per the requirements. Design Support: Assist senior engineers and project managers in the preparation of designs for structural, site, and civil engineering components. Ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations in all technical drawings. Site Visit & Assessment: Conduct site visits and take measurements to gather accurate data for project planning. Collaborate with site engineers to ensure drawings align with on-site conditions and requirements. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and construction teams to finalize project details and implement changes. Coordinate with other departments for project execution. Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of the drafts and designs, making necessary revisions as needed. Ensure all drawings meet project requirements and standards. Project Documentation: Maintain a library of completed project drawings, modifications, and records. Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and project timelines. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the team on the usage of software tools and technical aspects of civil design. For Freshers (Candidates with a Civil Engineering background): Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Certification: Any relevant certifications or training in CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus. Skills: Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools. Knowledge of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , or similar drafting software. In-depth knowledge of civil engineering concepts, materials, and design principles. Ability to prepare accurate and clear construction drawings and plans. Strong communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients. Experience working with engineers, architects, and construction teams to resolve technical issues. Ability to adapt and stay current with industry changes and advancements in drafting technology.
