Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for using CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce layouts for management and client approval. You will rework and modify designs based on feedback from management and clients, providing estimates on cost, time, machinery, construction, and other specifications. Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations will also be part of your role. You will conduct on-site investigations, analyze data, monitor progress, and compile reports on project status to report to senior management daily. It is essential to visit construction sites to ensure activities align with specified designs and provide clarity about the design to clients. You will also provide advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies that may arise during the project. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and previous work experience in the field. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and modeling software, mathematics, engineering, and construction is required. Familiarity with state safety and structure regulations, excellent technical design skills, good communication skills, a keen eye for aesthetics and detail, and the ability to project manage effectively are also essential for this role.,
