Civil Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Civil Design Engineer at PM Group, you will be responsible for leading the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage, utilities, and earthworks for site development works on large industrial projects. You will proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management team, contractors, and Clients. Your role will involve managing the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard, carrying out periodic inspections of the works on site for quality and BCAR purposes, and contributing to the continuous development of the civil engineering department. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage, and utilities, and earthworks for site development works on large industrial projects. - Proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management team, contractors, and Clients. - Manage the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard. - Carry out periodic inspections of the works on site for quality and BCAR purposes. - Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department. Qualifications: - Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification / professional experience) - 8+ years experience with an EPC firm working on large-scale industrial projects is required, with experience in Pharma and Data Centre projects a distinct advantage - Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, AutoTRACK, and Revit - Experience in Navisworks and/or BIM360 is preferable - Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage Additional Details: PM Group is an employee-owned, international project delivery firm with a team of 3,700+ people.
